The Phet Moungkhoun Guesthouse sits on the brow of a hill just after the Chouk River on the main road that divides Vieng Phouka. With a large garden are at the front, the guesthouse is cool and calm. The rooms which are bungalow style, two rooms to a bungalow with a shared balcony, are dotted around the large garden area.

With bungalows strung along the brow of the hill overlooking the Chouk River and a big leafy garden to the front of the bungalows the Thonmixay Guesthouse has a rustic charm all of its own.
Named after the river Chouk that runs beside it the VPK Namchouk Guesthouse is just off the main road running through Vieng Phouka. Opened in 2008 the VPK Namchouk Guesthouse is split in to two halves, there are bungalow style rooms that overlook the Nam Chouk and there are more modern rooms set back slightly across a parking area.
