The Thoualsith Guesthouse without a doubt is one of the nicest and best value for money in Luang Namtha Town. It is located on the main road but set back slightly, close to the night market, restaurants and travel and trekking agents. Named after the river Chouk that runs beside it the VPK Namchouk Guesthouse is just off the main road running through Vieng Phouka. Opened in 2008 the VPK Namchouk Guesthouse is split in to two halves, there are bungalow style rooms that overlook the Nam Chouk and there are more modern rooms set back slightly across a parking area.
