Boun Maka Bousa

Boun Maka Bousa Festival is held on the full moon to commemorate the speech given by the Lord Buddha to 1,250 enlightened monks who spontaneously gathered. In the evening, people visit their local temple and walk around the Vat three times with candles in a ceremony known as Vien Tian.
