The Thoualsith Guesthouse without a doubt is one of the nicest and best value for money in Luang Namtha Town. It is located on the main road but set back slightly, close to the night market, restaurants and travel and trekking agents. With free WI-FI and bananas the second floor balcony is a great place to relax and plan your travels.

Opened in October of 2009, it is a two storey modern, clean and tastefully decorated guesthouse. There is the Standard room with either a double or twin beds and for the more discerning traveller there is the Deluxe room with a King Size double bed and a bathtub. With links to local environmental projects and also the many small things that is does to reduce its own environmental impact the Thoulasith guesthouse is very environmentally aware.

Again as with most small guesthouses the faculties are limited with the Thoulasith guesthouse being no different. There is however free WI-FI so staying in contact is easy. And there are a few communal areas to sit and relax, tables on the ground floor in front of the guesthouse and a nice balcony on the second floor. The reception desk has some brochures and name cards of local travel and trekking agencies.
