The Thonmixay Guesthouse is a small quaint and inviting guesthouse on the brow of a hill beside the main road and nestled beside the Chouk River. With bungalows strung along the brow of the hill overlooking the Chouk River and a big leafy garden to the front of the bungalows the Thonmixay Guesthouse has a rustic charm all of its own.
The bungalows are built from wood and rattan and have traditional Lao roofs and are available with a shared or private bathroom. They have a rustic charm and are plain, simple and clean.
Finding the Thongmixay Guesthouse is easy as it is positioned next to the main road that runs through Vieng Phouka and is within easy walking distance to most places in Vieng Phouka.

There are not many facilities available but this is normal for Vieng Phouka and not specific to this guesthouse only. There is no restaurant as such but the guesthouse can prepare any meals you need just make sure that arrange them in advance. There is a communal seating area and this is where breakfast and other meals are served.
