The Tai Dam Guesthouse and Restaurant is nestled in a quiet and tranquil corner of Luang Namtha. With two types of accommodation wooden bungalows and a main building set around a scenic landscaped garden it is a perfect place to relax and explore Luang Namtha from.

The brick, wood and rattan bungalows are built in the Tai Dam style with traditional round roofs and overlook fish ponds, river fields and the ever present Luang Namtha countryside. While the main building is a new brick and cement building built in the same style as a Lao style home and has four guest rooms available.

While it is not in the main tourist area of Luang Namtha it is still close enough to be easily accessible and within walking distance of the night market, tourism authority, trekking agents, bank, post office and restaurants.

Quiet and charming. A mousquito net would be appreciated. Window screens do not keep all the critters out.

Fantastic guest house, the owners are amazing, they are often in the house not in the reception hut though so make sure you go and see them there and don't turn away - lovely place!
