Opened in 2005 the Samlan Chai Mountain Lodge and is perched at the top of a large hill overlooking Vieng Phouka and has awe inspiring views over the sleepy town of Vieng Phouka and the surrounding countryside.
The Samlan Chai Mountain Lodge is comprised of a complex of bungalows dotted around a relaxed garden, and a restaurant from which the best views can be had. The bungalows all have views and are located on the edges of the hill.
Located just on the edge of Vieng Phouka but still within walking distance to the Post Office, Bank, Morning Market, Tourism Information Office, Trekking agents, Morning Market and restaurants.
Facilities & Services
The hotel has a restaurant from which is a perfect spot to watch the sun setting, although please be advised that with most guesthouses in Vieng Phouka meals are available but must be ordered in advance. There are other restaurants nearby and the local tourism offices and trekking agent are within a short walk of the hotel.
