Depart from the trekking agent's office at 8:30am, you will be driven to Khmu Keuan ethnic minority village of Nam Sing Village. Here your guide for the day will join you and take you on a tour on the village, explaining to you about the history, culture and traditions of the Khmu Keaun. From the village your guide will lead you to the rice fields of the Khmu Keaun, he will then explain to you how the Khmu Keaun cultivate rice.

The next stop is the primary rain forest of the Nam Ha protected Area, but first you will have to cross the Sing River by negotiating a one of a kind bamboo bridge. Through the Nam Ha Protected Area you will trek up mountains with panoramic views of the valleys and villages below, you will experience primary rainforest and beautiful wild banana forests. After about three hours of walking in the Nam Ha Protected Area you will stop for lunch and a short rest. Your meal will be traditional Lao style food prepared by your guide and cooked by steaming it over a spirit bamboo fire.

After lunch the trek will continue through the primary rainforest of the Nam Ha Protected Area, past spectacular bamboo forests, to the Hmong, Lahu and Musur ethnic minority villages in and around Ban Nam Vang. The villagers are fiercely proud of their ethnicity and still wear their traditional clothes, live in traditional houses and practice their traditional customs. You will be able to talk to the villagers with the help of your guide and you will be able to learn about their history, traditions and culture.

The last leg of your trek will be to rendezvous with your minivan, leaving the villages behind you will continue to trek through the rainforest with a final chance to experience the beautiful views of the Nam Ha rainforest.
